Gas Sesnors - PID Type
Select Gas Type

The PID (Photoionization Detector) Gas Sensor is designed for high-sensitivity detection of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and a wide range of toxic gases in industrial and environmental applications. It operates by using ultraviolet (UV) light to ionize gas molecules, generating an electrical signal proportional to the gas concentration.
PID gas sensors are especially effective for detecting low-level gas concentrations (ppb to ppm range), making them ideal for applications requiring early warning, leak detection, and exposure monitoring.

Features

  • High sensitivity for VOCs and toxic gases at ppb–ppm levels
  • Fast response and recovery time for real-time monitoring
  • Broad detection range covering multiple organic compounds
  • Excellent repeatability and measurement stability
  • Low detection limits for early leak and exposure detection
  • Compact design for easy integration into portable and fixed gas detectors
  • Reliable performance in industrial and field environments
  • Long lamp life with low maintenance requirements

Applications

  • VOC monitoring and leak detection
  • Industrial hygiene and workplace safety
  • Oil & gas, chemical, and petrochemical industries
  • Environmental air quality monitoring
  • Confined space gas detection
  • Emergency response and hazardous material monitoring
  • Portable and fixed gas detection systems
